Partial Hospitalization Addiction Treatment Program in Henryville, PA

The Rock Crest Structured Living partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers full days of personalized care for adults age 18 and older of all genders who have developed substance use disorders, which is the clinical term for addiction.

Why Choose PHP?

At Pocono Mountain Recovery Center, we understand that each adult who struggles with addiction is impacted in a unique manner. To best serve each person who turns to us for help, we’re committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care at multiple levels, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP).

The Rock Crest Structured Living PHP may be the ideal choice for adults who are seeking step-down services after completing a residential program, as well as for those who need a greater degree of support than they can receive via an intensive outpatient program (IOP) or traditional outpatient services.

Adults who receive care through the Rock Crest Structured Living PHP take part in full days of structured clinical services provided by dedicated professionals within a safe and welcoming environment. Our PHP is in session 5.5 hours a day, seven days a week.

When our PHP is not in session, participants may return home, or they may choose our sober living option, where they can benefit from continued supervision and support as they work to gain a solid foothold in early recovery.

Features & Services

Our partial hospitalization program incorporates a variety of therapeutic activities and services, all of which can be customized to best meet the specific needs of each person who is receiving care.

Therapy within the PHP is designed to help adults identify the concerns that may have contributed to their prior substance use, develop the skills that will help them resist relapse, and make the lifestyle changes that will empower them to achieve long-term recovery.

During an adult’s time in the Rock Crest Structured Living PHP, they may receive services such as:

  • Case management services
  • Medication management
  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Recreation therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Expression through art & music

Group therapy is the main element of care in our PHP. Groups typically include a small number of adults who are working toward recovery, along with one or two professionals.

Topics that may be addressed during group therapy sessions in our PHP include relapse behaviors, trauma resolution, and healthy coping skills. Psychoeducational groups and workshops may focus on topics such as assertiveness, stress management, anger management, developing a support network, and learning how to refuse offers to use alcohol and other drugs.

Depending on the participants’ needs, groups may also address topics such as aging, compulsive gambling, sex addiction, managing symptoms of personality disorders, and matters of particular significance to members of the LGBTQ community.

Our PHP schedule also includes gender-specific breakout groups, which are supportive opportunities for men and women to discuss topics they may be hesitant or unwilling to address in a coeducational setting.

PHP Housing Options

At Pocono Mountain Recovery Center we offer two housing options for our clients enrolled in our partial hospitalization program, – Meadowbrook and Rock Crest. Both options are highly structured with a 24/7 staff to supervise residents, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Our clients will be able to enjoy beautiful living accommodations on a manicured 9-acre property, allowing them to feel comfortable and at ease during their stay. Additionally, we provide three prepared meals each day, along with additional snacks and drinks always available, so our clients can focus on their recovery without worrying about meal planning or preparation. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to heal, and our partial hospitalization program offers a safe and supportive environment to achieve that goal.

We understand that cleanliness and personal hygiene are essential elements of a healthy recovery journey. That’s why we provide access to a washer and dryer on site, ensuring our clients have the necessary facilities to maintain their personal hygiene. At our program, residents are required to be clean and sober, with zero tolerance for the use of alcohol or drugs and to abide by all house rules. This approach ensures that our clients are committed to their recovery journey and have a supportive environment to help them succeed. With a length of stay that varies between 30-90 days, our clients have the time and resources to develop essential skills for their recovery journey. Finally, we offer a weekly “visiting day” with family and loved ones on Saturdays or Sundays after programming, providing an opportunity for clients to reconnect with their support network.
